Your UO ID Card is much more than just your university identification card. You use it for everything from checking out books in the library to riding free on LTD. And it allows you to get discounts on many activities and events.

Your UOCard can also be used as a debit card for purchases on campus simply by activating your UOCampus Cash account. The UOCard office is located on the ground floor of the EMU.

Kinesiology Publications
Kinesiology Publications (KinPubs)--formerly Microform Publications of Human Movement Studies--is a non-profit component of the International Institute for Sport and Human Performance (IISHP). KinPubs archives and disseminates graduate research studies (master's and doctoral dissertations) on microfiche and in electronic format.

Life of Mind
Challenging college-level seminars addressing major issues of the day, designed for adults who want to immerse themselves in the life of the mind. The goal is mental work, not grades—you get the rewards without the hassles. What do you miss about college? The close study, stimulating discussion, and mental mastery of subjects profound and topical. What aspects of college life would you rather not revisit? Exams, term papers, graduation requirements, overcrowded classrooms . . .in short, everything else.

Institute of Neuroscience
We are an interdisciplinary research group of life scientists at the University of Oregon, with faculty and students drawn from the departments of Biology, Psychology, and Exercise and Movement Science. Our laboratories offer graduate and postdoctoral training in fields of Neuroscience and Development ranging from the behavioral genetics of nematodes to human cognitive processes. Faculty research interests include cellular neuroscience, developmental biology, neural systems, neural plasticity, and cognitive neuroscience.

Standards for Success
Standards for Success is a three-year project of the Association of American Universities in partnership with The Pew Charitable Trusts. It has two goals:

  • Goal 1: Identify what students need to know and be able to do in order to succeed in entry-level university courses. Knowledge and Skills for University Success is a comprehensive and thoroughly grounded set of standards for college success.

  • Goal 2: Produce a database of information on state high school assessments to improve the connection between the content of high school tests and the standards for university

University of Oregon Press
Since listing its first volume in 1919‚ the University of Oregon Press has published more than 100 books‚ monographs and journals. Most of its publications have focused on regional and state history and natural history‚ but a sizable number have dealt with other areas of scholarly interest‚ from European literature to theater studies. The book publishing program - which also published under the imprint ”UO Books” – was curtailed in the mid-1970s. The Press was reinvigorated to publish and distribute the Atlas of Oregon‚ Second Edition‚ on the occasion of the 125th anniversary of the UO’s founding. Since then‚ the Press has published a number of other books‚ released the Atlas of Oregon CD-ROM and revived a number of backlist titles.
